How are the pavers installed?

After the area is excavated, the ground is leveled then firmed with a mechanical tamper. Fabric is added if needed. Gravel and/or sand substrate is added, compacted and stabilized with the tamper. Sand is added as the paver base and tamped down. Finally the pavers are laid and firmed into position with the tamper. The edging is cemented into place and sand is swept into the joints to finish the job.
